Does magic exist in reality?

I hear and read a lot about magic in islam, but I've never known anyone who knows how to do it? Does Islam have some sample magic that one can try out? For example, I was given a Quranic cures book once, in which you can find many Quranic cures. One of them is this: ECZEMA: Recite (Quran 23:14 ) 21 times daily for 41 days in the morning and evening, blow on water and drink. Is that an example of Islamic magic?
