Did wives of Nabi (saw) wear niqab?

Did wives of Nabi salahualaihiwasalam wear niqab? I found this hadis: > Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: > > Riders would pass us when we accompanied the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) > while we were in the sacred state (wearing ihram). Is there any sahih hadis?
