Does God have a sense of humor? Does he laugh?

I've always heard "God must have a sense of humor because he created X". Usually X is "the platypus" or "me". Also, it should be evident that Jesus, being human, had a sense of humor. It's part of the human experience. But, is there anywhere in the Bible where humor on the part of God is actually recorded? Furthermore, is there any doctrinal stance supported by extra-biblical (yet inspired) text that indicates God's sense of humor? I'm interested in both humor from Jesus (as I don't know of any) as well as humor from the heavens (either God while Jesus was here on Earth or anything before or after that point).
