Are there Old Testament references to the length of Jesus earthly ministry?

The Old Testament references Jesus death and resurrection . I've always wondered why did Jesus have only 3 years of time (or 3 1/2 ) as a preacher and teacher. I suppose you could say the time was enough to spread God's message. Is this duration predicted in the OT ?
