Is getting my Tarot Card Reading done haram? Even if I don't believe in it

So my wife and I are recent reverts, however my wife's family do not know she is Muslim yet because my wife does not feel ready to tell them just yet as her family are more spiritual rather than religious.
Yesterday we had a family gathering with my wife's family and her aunt brought out and was using tarot cards on everyone in the room for fun including myself.
I never looked into tarot cards so I wasn't too sure if it was haram, but it did not feel like something Allah would be pleased about.
So my wife's aunt done a tarot card reading on me but honestly it sounds very generic and I did not take any of it seriously as I seek Allah for guidance not these man made cards.
Obviously my wife's aunt is not a real fortune teller but after going online it said if you go to a fortune teller or palm reader then your prayer would be invalid for 40 nights.
These tarot cards did not say anything negative, if anything it just said things like 'trust in yourself' 'trust your partner' 'be one with nature and the universe'. Where I believe trusting in Allah alone is sufficient and everything in those cards don't mean anything to me.
I just wanted to check if I unintentionally commited a major sin? And if my prayer is invalid for 40 nights? If I seek repentances and seek forgiveness from Allah my prayers would still be invalid?
