Did Allah create more female souls?

I had a self conceived beleif that male and female are equal demographically or Allah created them in equal numbers. This wrong beleif was attested by another muslim. The doubt arose when I came across a opinion from ibn taymiyyah and a sunnah report. It is soundly narrated that each man of the people of Paradise will have two wives from among human women, .......” (Majmu‘ al-Fatawa, 6/432) Sahih al-Bukhari 29 Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "I was shown the Hell-fire and that the majority of its dwellers were women who were ungrateful ". Do the above suggest Allah created more female souls?
