i did something, and I’m curious

Well, I’ve promised Allah to not do a specific thing but I didn’t say Wallah I won’t do it Listen, so there’s this specific thing I hate and it isn’t haram and I know because I’ve done my research about it for a while now. Before I do it I’m genuinely concerned because I don’t want to sin and I feel heaviness in my chest whenever I think I’m doing something haram but All the sheioukh and u’ulama have said it’s halal I only promised Allah سبحانه وتعالى to not do it because I Hate it And if you’re curious of what it is it’s just a hobby I do when I’m bored, in the end there’s no use of it and it’s pretty much useless. Some think it’s a waste of time I only do it when I finish my prayer and Quran of the day, so it doesn’t really count as a waste of time.
