Saving the Earth is very in fashion these days,but is this a problem for the church, according to the RCC?

The Book of Revelation gives a lot of pictures on how the world as we know it will end,as we know it today.But it does not explain that the North Pole will be gone or that The weather will be so warm we can't live on earth anymore or That we can't live in the air we have today.Of course there are cities like Tokyo that have major problems with the climate and they are "man made" in a way.But the bible does not tell us That the End of the world or the return of Jesus has anything to do with The climate on the earth. How does the RCC see this.Should Christians use their time fighting climate change? I would think THE RCC would have a opinion on what our focus should be on this topic.
