The Buddha warns of the dangers of an uninstructed mind. Did he ever detail how the unscrupulous exploit this vulnerability?

Put differently: We know the Buddha taught us how to guard the sense doors, but did he ever describe the specific traps or manipulative techniques used by the unscrupulous (false friends, deceptive teachers, or corrupt leaders) to encourage us to leave those doors wide open?
