Is smell enough to distinguish impurity?

I may have had some drops of urine on my leg. I ignored it and wore my trousers once the clothes dried my hands came into contact with my trousers. After a while I decided to smell my hands and it had a smell that I couldn’t fully explain like it may be a urine smell or not Should I ignore the smell? Please give answer in Hanafi madhab
