Why angels afraid dogs

There is a hadith (I read it in a book on religion) that in a house where paintings are hung and dogs are kept, angels do not enter this house.Why don't they enter a house where dogs, angels are immortal (until the end of the world), it's strange for spirits to be afraid of dogs. I know that dogs can often be ill-mannered, dirty, and lustful, but angels are disembodied spirits, Dogs can't hurt them.
