Why do the Imams of Masjid Al Haram not grow their beards, even when it's mandatory?

                          Among all four Madhabs, Hanbali, Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanafi, a beard is mandatory to at least the length of a fist. There are different opinions on growing it after that, but why do the imams of Masjid Haram have beard that they trim, and keep it very small. Even when their beard grows longer they shape their beard, why?
