What do most Christians think about the Massacre of the Innocents and the claim in Matthew 27:53 that many people were resurrected with Jesus?

The Gospel of Matthew makes two rather outrageous (I can't think of a better word) claims: The Massacre of the Innocents and that many people were resurrected along with Jesus and walked to Jerusalem and appeared to many (Matthew 27:53). Do most denominations of Christianity consider them to be true stories or do they consider them to be myths? If they consider them to be true stories, how do they explain away the lack of evidence? Something like the Massacre of the Innocents or a zombie apocalypse would certainly be noted by non-Christian sources, wouldn't it?
