I present first these three following ideas: > Transubstantiation (Latin: transubstantiatio; Greek: μετουσίωσις metousiosis) is, according to the teaching of the Catholic Church, "the change of the whole substance of bread into the substance of the Body of Christ and of the whole substance of wine into the substance of the Blood of Christ. Source > Cannibalism is the act of consuming another individual of the same species as food. Cannibalism is a common ecological interaction in the animal kingdom and has been recorded in more than 1,500 species. Human cannibalism is well documented, both in ancient and in recent times. > Source And, to my understanding Jesus is a human being; at any rate, most (all?) Trinitarians teach that Jesus is fully human (and simultaneously fully God, but it's the human part that matters here). [This includes Catholics](https://www.goodcatholic.com/jesus-is-both-god-and-man-and-why-that-matters/) . Does Transubstantiation mean that Christians are cannibalizing Jesus? Further, what are the general views which the bible advocates for Christians in regards to cannibalism?
