In Ken Graham's answer to [a separate question](https://christianity.stackexchange.com/a/81426) , he cites a prayer to Saint Michael used in the Catholic rite of exorcism. The Latin text of the prayer includes the passage: >tibi trádidit Dóminus ánimas redemptórum in supérna felicitáte locándas which I am reasonably sure translates as: >The Lord has handed over to you the souls of the redeemed, to be placed in supernal happiness Have I perhaps mistranslated? Does this reflect a Catholic tradition or teaching (of which I have been unaware)? If not, what is the import of the passage?
