When someone converts to Christianity and is "reborn in Christ," is it the body or the soul that is reborn, or both?

I understand this question can be approached from different denominational positions, depending on how one interprets John 3:3-5. > Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of > God unless they are born again."
