What is the difference between Anglo-Catholicism and Catholicism?

I read about Anglo-Catholicism and what I found is that there aren't differences between them and Catholic (in terms of doctrine). Am I wrong? If I'm not wrong, the only difference is in the Pope's authority vs the authority of the Archbishop of Canterbury (or the Queen of England), so why they do not come together? I can't understand the schism.
