Do Anglicans in general (laity and vicars and bishops) support what their 'Head' is doing in Rome?

There has been much publicity about the 'Head of the Church of England' praying with the Pope in Rome. But I have not (yet) seen any support for this from the laity of the Anglican communion or from the vicars of the Church of England or from the bishops. Is the 'Head' of the Anglican communion acting on their own (possibly ideological) account or are they acting as representing the whole body ?
