Which Christian Denominations assert Catholics are not christians on account of "following the wide gate?"

A Christian I once met in real life asserted that Catholics aren't Christians "because there is the Narrow Gate and the Wide Gate, and Catholicism follows the wide gate." I presume he is referring to the Wide and Narrow gates from Matthew 7:13-7:14. Googling around, there are some forum posts where some have asserted a similar line of reasoning. However, I've never heard this line of reasoning as a rationale for stating Catholics aren't Christians. This made me curious to ask.... Which Christian denominations do not count Catholics as Christians on account of following "the Wide gate?"
